ASALTO AL AGUA TRANSPARENTE
LAGARTIJAS TIRADAS AL SOL
Long before becoming the capital of Mexico, Mexico City was surrounded by two thousand square kilometres of lakes: only ten square kilometres remain today. Inquiry into this ecological disaster.
Janet, a young woman who has just arrived in Mexico City, and Ixca, who has lived there for many years, energetically work their way back through five centuries of history. The actors and directors Luisa Pardo and Gabino Rodríguez present an uncompromising assessment of this city of nine million inhabitants. Theirs is a militant documentary theatre that relies on objective data and dry humour.
